Sales Contract & Policy
Updated: 12/06/2024
General Policy
- Most animals are sold on a limited first come first serve basis. We do keep a waiting list on some, which is a paid waiting list. There will be a non refundable fee paid to be placed on the waiting list. Waiting lists are in the order their fees are received.
- If you need to rehome anything you purchased from us (Bred by or just purchased) they are to be offered back to us first. We reserve first right of refusal
- When offering back and fulfilling the first right of refusal, you are contractually obligated to sell back to us no higher than the price you purchased from us, we do not return the breeding fee unless you are returning the animal back before its due date. Transport is a separate entity and is your responsibility not yours. Any additional fees you spent on the animal for showing or care is not our responsibility when you sell the animal back to us. We are also not responsible for offering you first right of refusal if we choose to sell/rehome the animal after you return it.
- When returning/selling back an animal you are responsible for meeting us in Santee, SC or Eutawville, SC unless transport was the original delivery method and then we will arrange transport.
- No animals will leave before they are 8 weeks old
- To reserve your animal, you mut put down a non refundable and non transferable deposit. Deposits may vary depending on the animal. Contact us directly for deposit information.
- Deposits can be placed via Paypal, Venmo or Cash
- If there is an animal available and you want to make your deposit or pay in full in person, I will hold for 24 hours. The time must be scheduled, and agreed upon by both parties. You must meet in Eutawville, SC or Santee, SC. If you fail to show up to the agreed meet time the animal will be back available.
- If you wish to pay your remaining balance via Paypal or Venmo, we ask that it is done prior to your pick up. This is because most providers do not have service at our Homestead and to ensure drop off runs smoothly. Your animal will not be handed over to you until full payment is made.
- Any additional payments made (outside of the deposit) may be considered non refundable, as it could apply towards fees accrued for care and boarding. This is at our discretion.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a sale at any time. If we cancel a sale we have the right to keep or refund some or all of the deposit, or additional payments made, as we deem necessary that will apply towards fees accrued for care and boarding.
- Any animals purchased through auction or raffles; Payments are non refundable.
- Animals purchased in a raffle or Auction are still subject to our policy. Raffle animals do not have a purchase price therefore they are to be returned to us, and no refund on raffle tickets will be given if you need to sell/rehome the animal.
- Your deposit holds until they are 8 weeks of age or 2 weeks, after that time boarding fees may be applied unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Puppies will be picked out in person, and appointments will be scheduled in the order of the waitlist. Missing your appointment may put you further down on the list.
- All stock is priced with proper aptitude, and lower offers than what the animal is listed for will be rejected.
- All animals are healthy upon leaving our homestead to the best of our knowledge.
- It is the buyers responsibility to check over all animals at pick up. This includes confirming gender, and checking overall health. We do our best to accurately sex our animals but mistakes do happen. WE do not knowingly send sick animals to new homes.
- All animals are sent home with a care package.
Transport
- All animals must receive a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) also known as a Health Certificate prior to going on transport. This is a certificate that is issued by a licensed veterinarian after they have been examined and found to meet the regulations for the intended travel. This applies for animals being picked up by transport or animals traveling more than one hour, in one direction or going out of state.
- We require CVI's be done no less than 7 days before transport, and it is at the expense of the buyer.
- It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure we are aware of when transport will be coming through so we can schedule the appointment to have this done.
- We will not allow an animal to board transport without a CVI, as it is required for most transporters to cross state lines anyway.
- A copy of the CVI will be sent to the buyer, and provided to the transporter.
- Once an animal is in the hands of the transporter, there are no health guarantees. As we cannot control what happens once they are out of our care
- The CVI prior to transport is proof that transport is handed a healthy animal, in condition to travel.
- There are no refunds for animals once they are in the transporter's hands, or you have taken possession of them if you are traveling to pick them up.
- The remaining payment and CVI fee must be paid prior to 1 week BEFORE TRANSPORT DEPARTURE or SCHEDULED PICK UP
- It is the buyers responsibility to provide transport if needed. We do have transporters we work with, I can provide their info upon request. You must confirm with us which transport, and which month pick up will be. This must be agreed upon when/before deposit is made.
- If you use transport and fail to pick up at the designated time and location we will work with the transporter to bring our animals home. This will result in your forfeiting what you have paid for the animal, and we will not sell to you in the future.
